About these guidelines

These guidelines set out some behaviors and content we don’t allow on Enumma because we think they would work against Enumma’s purpose: to inspire and amplify authenticity in music and in life.

That we have listed a behavior or content here doesn’t necessarily mean we think that behavior or content is bad everywhere and in all circumstances. It just means we think that behavior or content would run counter to Enumma’s purpose.

Similarly, these guidelines shouldn’t be taken to mean that we approve of or support everything not listed here. We can’t inspire and amplify authenticity without freedom of speech, so there’s a lot of controversial stuff we don’t ban regardless of anyone’s views on those things.

Behaviors and content we don’t allow

Below is the list of behaviors and content we don’t allow on Enumma.

Bullying, harassment and doxing	Bullies, harasses, or doxes a person.
Hateful behavior or content	Demeans a person because of the person's race, color, sex, age, disability, national origin or caste, or without grounding on an explicit or implicit opinion about the content of the person's character, the person's conduct, or the effect the person's beliefs or ideas have on others.

Highly disruptive behavior	Egregiously disrupts the joint experience of two or more users.
Impersonation and spoofing	Misleadingly impersonates or spoofs a person, company or other organization.
Spamming	Spams users.
Manipulative or deceitful practice	Tries to manipulate or deceive a user into doing something.
Pornography or sexual behavior	Shows or directs to pornography or is colorfully suggestive of sexual activity.
Graphic nudity	Shows or directs to a real or illustrated depiction of graphic nudity, unless the depiction, taken as whole and in context, has literary, artistic, political, historical, medical or scientific value that overwhelms any erotic appeal.
Disturbing content or sadistic remarks	Gratuitously shows or directs to extremely disturbing content, such as people or animals being killed, maimed, tortured or abused, or makes sadistic remarks.
Violence or serious damage	Threatens, incites, promotes, or has the potential to cause violence to a person, gratuitous violence to an animal, serious damage to property or the environment, or other serious public harm.
Terrorism or other violent extremism	Threatens, incites, promotes or plays a role in terrorism or other forms of violent extremism.
Reckless activity	Portrays or encourages reckless activity that risks death or serious physical or mental harm.
Self-harm	Encourages suicide, self-injury, eating disorders, substance abuse or other self-harm.
Children or minor targeting	Is directed at or likely to appeal to children or minors.
Youth endangerment	Grooms, exploits, abuses, sexualizes or in any other way endangers children or minors.
Weapon, explosive, controlled substance or dangerous object	Shows how to make, abuse, or misuse a weapon, explosive or controlled substance, or encourages the illegal or reckless use of any other dangerous object.
False artist amplification	Claims to amplify an artist without meaningfully promoting the artist.
Catalog music misuse	Misuses music from an artist's catalog on Enumma.
Unauthorized promotion	Promotes a brand, project, product or service in a way that contravenes our Promotional Content Guidelines.
Platform manipulation	Artificially inflates metrics or manipulates the platform in any other way.
False or frivolous report or claim	Submits a false or frivolous report or claim.
Copyright or neighboring right infringement	Infringes a copyright or neighboring right.
Other IP or personality right infringement	Infringes an intellectual property right other than a copyright or neighboring right or infringes a personality right.
Illegality	Does, admits to, plays a role in, or encourages anything illegal, or violates or infringes someone's right, in a way not covered by any of the other prohibitions in these guidelines.

What happens if you don’t comply

If you don’t follow these guidelines, we can take any of the actions set out in the "Some actions we can take" section of our Terms of Service.

Reporting violations of these guidelines

If you see anything that violates these guidelines, please report it to us through the app. We’ll take a look and take the actions we think are most appropriate if we can confirm a violation. However, it’s up to us to decide how much resources we’ll dedicate to any investigation. We’ll reach out if we have questions and we’ll let you know what we decided to do about your report in the end.
